- "i just got lucky"
- " i am not qualified for this"
- "soon everyone would realize that i am not as good as they think"

Imposter syndrome often arises from perfectionism, societal pressures, change in environments, and even your upbringing. High achievers are often the ones most likely to face this, because they set lofty goals that can be quite overwhelming, and this can potentially reduce your chances of success.

- Document your wins: Have a success journal where you can document success, achievements, and milestones. This journal can aid you remember your worth and reclaim your once lost capabilities.
- Talk about it: This is one of those cases in which the saying " a problem shared is a problem solved" applies. Open up to people you trust and respect. This could be a close friend, an acquaintance, it could even be your mentor. You`ll often find out that they`ve undergone the same phase.
- Stop comparing yourself to others: Comparison fuels imposter syndrome. Instead, focus on your unique journey and the experience you`ll gain along the way. You cannot compare your day 10 to someone else`s day 100. "comparison is the thief of joy"
- Practice self compassion: Be benevolent to yourself. Treat yourself with the same empathy you`ll treat a friend. Remind yourself that everyone makes mistakes and you still have areas in which you need to grow. Try not to be harsh on yourself.
- Fake It ‘Til You Make It: Sometimes appearing confident even if you don`t feel confident can give you the confidence you need to thrive. Step into situations with courage, even if you feel timid, do not give room to fear.
- Learn and Evolve: Take workshops, attend seminars, and if possible seek mentorships to strengthen your skills. Learning is a never ending process, and there`s never enough room for growth. Continuous honing of skills diminishes inadequacy.
