Why Failure is Important to Climb the Ladder of Success
A certain philanthropist named "Arianna Huffington" made an incredible statement. She said "Failure is not the opposite of success; it's part of success.", how noble and remarkable. In today's world, a lot of people stigmatize people who had indeed failed, and yet they forget that they themselves are imperfect and they fail too. Most successful individuals when questioned about their wealth and success, always pay reference to the lessons they learnt during their trial and error phase.
Why is failure important?
Failure allows you to retrace your steps and look for better insights. When you fail you have the potential to take a step back and think outside the box. It generally gives you different and multiple opportunities, and even a clear path to success. The most popular example of success through failure is the story of Thomas Eddison. He failed after trying so many times to invent a lightbulb, but yet he didn't give up, he was resilient and he made a resolve and after failing for so many times, I believe we can all see his creation, and the whole world acknowledges him today.
Overcoming Failure
There are several ways you and I could overcome failure, and I've made a detailed list for you.
- Understand and accept it; you cannot continue mopping because of your past, but there's a better way to let go of that pain, and its to accept it. ~there's still light at the end of the tunnel~
- Examine and learn ; you could start by breaking down what caused the failure and looking for better ways or solutions out of it.
- Be resilient ; bad days are going to eventually come, but its the decisions you make on those days that are key. Being consistent is not hard, you just need to have the guts to create a resolve and act on it.
- Reframe your mindset ; you need insights, understand that failure is the most consistent feedback. You have to understand that it brings forth better insights and its temporary rather than permanent.
