Risk - A Catalyst To Success
Since time immemorial, there has always been a difference between good or bad, between happiness and pain, between success and failure. Most times we wish we were in other peoples shoes. We wish we could be like them and we think that if we were like them we could actually live a better life and be happy. Let me break it to you with all honesty, if you had the same opportunity I don’t think you could make the most of it.
The reason why you are where you are today, be it where you want to be or not. The reason you are satisfied or unsatisfied with your work or how life has been is solely because of you. Consider this, I’m a Christian and in the Bible there is a common story most people should already know a master was going away and he gave his servants Pennie’s to keep. And while he was gone his three servants got to have a penny each. The first one traded and made 6 more Pennie’s the second one traded and made 4 Pennie’s and the last one saved his penny and buried it for safe keeping. When the master returned he was happy with the first two servants who had increased his money but the last one he was furious with him.
Why this story?
What exactly is my point? Jim Rohn said In one of his seminars that if you want to be successful, you want an above average house, you want an above average car, you want an above average lifestyle In it’s entirety . The only way you could get these things is by being an above average person. Nothing kills a dream more than it’s comfort zone. You cannot continue to hood for the best, you have to leave the place of your comfort, leave the doubts behind and work towards it.
Wrapping Up
In conclusion, most definitely we all hope for the best, in a situation where your looking for roses and life throws vines at you, what would you do. You don’t hope for the best because the best won’t just come like that. Infact you should be anticipating the worst. I’ve come to tell you today, that the worst isn’t really the worst, and you can always have a vineyard with vines.
